Returns, Cancellations and Refund Policy
This page explains how to cancel a Herbova order before delivery, how to return products after delivery, and how refunds are handled.
Order cancellation before delivery
You can request to cancel your order by contacting us as soon as possible at info@herbova.fi.
You can also submit an electronic cancellation request directly from the order status page. You can access the order status page by clicking the link in your order confirmation email. On the order status page, select Cancel items and confirm your cancellation request. You will receive an email confirmation once your request has been submitted. We will review the request and notify you of the outcome.
If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we may be able to cancel the order and refund the payment. If the order has already been processed or shipped, it may no longer be possible to cancel it before delivery. In that case, you may use your right of return after receiving the product, in accordance with the terms below.
Right of return after delivery
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days from the date you received the order.
You must notify us clearly of your withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the order. Simply returning the product or not collecting the delivery is not sufficient as a withdrawal notice.
The product to be returned must be unused, in sellable condition and in its original packaging. The product must be returned to us no later than 14 days after you have submitted your withdrawal notice.
Products eligible for return
- The right of return applies to unused and sellable products in their original packaging.
- Opened or used seed, growing medium, nutrient or other similar products cannot be returned if the product can no longer be resold or if the return is not possible due to the product’s quality, hygiene or shelf life.
- If the returned product has been used, damaged or otherwise substantially changed, we may deduct the reduction in value from the refunded amount.
How to return a product
- Notify us of the return by email at info@herbova.fi.
- Include your order number, the product you wish to return and, if you wish, the reason for the return. Providing a reason is not required.
- We will send you return instructions and the return address.
- Return the product according to the instructions no later than 14 days after submitting your withdrawal notice.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the product is defective, damaged or incorrect.
Refunds
- We will refund the price of the returned products to the original payment method.
- If you return the entire order, we will also refund the original delivery costs according to the least expensive standard delivery option.
- If you selected a delivery method that is more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery option, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded.
- If you return only part of the order, the original delivery costs will generally not be refunded.
- The refund will be made no later than 14 days after we have received your withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until you have provided proof that you have sent it back.
Defective, damaged or incorrect products
If the product you received is defective, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@herbova.fi.
We will resolve the situation on a case-by-case basis, for example by sending a new product, a replacement product or by issuing a refund. The customer will not be charged return shipping costs for a defective, damaged or incorrect product.
