Beefsteak Tomato ‘Black Krim’ – Dark Heirloom Tomato

Beefsteak Tomato ‘Black Krim’ (Solanum lycopersicum), also known as Noire de Crimée, is a well-known heirloom variety that produces large, dark red tomatoes with almost brownish tones. This variety is especially known for its rich and full flavour.

‘Black Krim’ grows best in a warm location and is suitable for greenhouses, pots or sunny and sheltered garden spots. The large and juicy tomatoes are excellent for salads and fresh use.

Sow the seeds indoors in early spring at around 20 °C in a protected seed tray. Prick out the seedlings once and move them later into a greenhouse, pots or outdoors in a warm growing location. Remove side shoots regularly to help support a good harvest.
