Broccoli ‘Summer Purple’ – Purple Broccoli for Summer Harvests

Broccoli ‘Summer Purple’ (Brassica oleracea) is a purple sprouting broccoli variety bred especially for summer harvests. Depending on the sowing time, it can produce harvests from June to October.

Sow the seeds early in spring in a protected place, prick out the seedlings once and plant them outdoors in spring. Alternatively, you can sow outdoors in a seedbed from mid-spring and move the seedlings later to their final growing location.
