Curley Kale ‘Scarlet’ – Purple Winter Kale

Curley Kale ‘Scarlet’ (Brassica oleracea) is a striking purple-red kale variety whose colour deepens in cooler weather. This variety is especially well suited for autumn and winter growing, and it brings both colour and harvest value to the vegetable garden.

Sow the seeds outdoors from May to July. Young leaves are tasty raw, for example in salads, while mature leaves hold up well when cooked in soups, oven dishes and warm meals.
