Lemon Balm – Perennial Herb Seeds

Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is a perennial herb traditionally used for herbal infusions and tea. Its pleasant lemon-like flavour also makes it a useful culinary herb, especially for seasoning fish, game dishes, desserts and drinks.

Sow early in spring for pre-growing or directly in a seedbed in spring or early summer. Prick out the seedlings once and plant them in their final growing location. Lemon balm grows best in a sheltered and sunny place.
