Spearmint – Fresh Mint Herb for Tea and Cooking

Spearmint (Mentha spicata) is a perennial and versatile mint herb with a fresh flavour. The leaves can be used in soups, stews, mint sauce and herbal tea, either fresh or dried.

Sow indoors for pre-growing in February–March or outdoors in a seedbed in May. Prick out the seedlings once and plant them in their final growing location where mint has enough space to spread.
